In Photos: Inspire Everyday at Ayala Museum

Ayala Museum

Just for one day, Ayala Museum's entrance is free last July 30. And though me and my father already went here, we didn't let the opportunity pass by without visiting (because free art entrance are awesome!). Together, with my high school best friend, we braved the sea of people and the long queue just to see and experience this one day full of art. There are many activities for the day and there are a lot performers to see. But seeing some of the art for the second time doesn't appeal to me that much. We roamed around area for I think 2 hours which is very sulit knowing this is just a free entrance.

After waiting for almost an hour outside just to register, what we saw first was the booth of CNN Life Philippines together with lots of people flocking in the middle because apparently, BJ Pascual is there. People took the chance to have a selfie taken and have the photographer's "autograph. TBH, I didn't know how BJ Pascual looked like in real life so we're definitely lost why people keep on asking for his autograph. I just saw his photographs of famous celebrities which are on the news stand everywhere. And though I'm not really a fan, I envy his skills at photography. We also saw him gave  talks to some photographers and how to do portrait photography.

After seeing the crowd went crazy for BJ Pascual, we explored the top most floor first where some of the most expensive and heaviest golds can be found. Taking of photos is not allowd in this floor so I had no picture. People should definitely see this in person! The golds are overwhelming! There are also ancient old ceramics from China. You know, the usual ceramic thingy. What I liked the most though was "The Diary of Tetsuya Noda" exhibit. I don't know but the photographs and art works feels nostalgic. Maybe because I have high regards to Japanese culture.

After seeing all the floors above, we went down again scored free tote bags from CNN Life Philippines! We just had to like their social page and ta dah! It looks cute but wouldn't trade my Nat Geo tote bag for it. Haha! There also cool activities scattered. There's a doodle board care of Avida. A make your own lego area -- because PHlug was one of the exhibitors. I actually liked this exhibit than the first one I saw on my first visit. I guess I liked drawings more than paintings.

I wish we could have more events like this in the metro. Where different kinds of art meet and where successful people on their field can give talks to the youth.
