I’ve been wanting to visit this place since last year. Living in Pasig and Antipolo being just a neighboring city, I should have visited this months ago but apparently, I don’t have anyone to come with me (introvert problems are real). The boyf’s busy with responsibilities and well, most of my friends are from Manila and they’re not a fan of long land travels. But one fine Saturday, my workmate Den told me that if our Marinduque trip won’t be pushed through, then we can go to Pinto Art Museum because she also wants to visit this enormous art place too. And btw, she lives in Antipolo but this was her first time to go here too. Never mind that our Marinduque trip wasn’t pushed through, travelling isn’t part of my priorities right now. HAHA. I’m trying to save for something big. And I’m trying to discover more of Manila’s hidden gems and cafes on that matter. Food is love.
So yeah, we went there at around past lunch but we also had our lunch there at Pinto Cafe because we haven’t eaten anything yet that time. It was hot during the afternoon but it started to rain when we’re about to go home. Talk about being lucky. Upon going inside, we first purchased our tickets which costs 200 pesos per head. Upon researching, tickets just cost 150 before then it increased to 180 and ta-dahhh. it’s now 200. But what I can say is that 200 bucks is sooo sulit*! There are a lot of art pieces to digest plus the instagram worthy views and facades everywhere that you can use for mini photo shoots. We haven’t visited all the galleries because we have other appointments that day and I wished we came earlier so we could see all of it. There are next times anyway.

This is the view upon entrance. Don’t be fooled though because it looks small on this picture but it is so much bigger as there are passageways to different galleries.

Pizza for our late lunch @ Pinto Cafe. It was yummy but definitely expensive. I don’t think the price of the food here is reasonable because we aren’t eating in a restaurant and although the food looks and tastes delicious, I think it’s overpriced for its taste and serving size.

All these props for photo shoots are everywhere. You won’t have a hard looking for a place to take your photo because the whole area is something to capture. It reminds me of retreat houses when I was in high school and college because the ambiance is nature -ish. I think the interior of the place alone is a piece of art because in my perspective, it was well though of. Everything is where it should be and it looks good when combined together. It’s also not hard to miss that they are still building more buildings in the site. Maybe they are trying to expand to cater more art works but nonetheless, I hope it finishes sooner so we can come back the soonest to see the additional art works.

Think of the one whom you loved and lost
Take a pen and write an anonymous letter to him or her using the stationary provided.
Empty your thoughts. Fold and seal the letter.
Deposit the letter in one of the drawer -
Let it remain undelivered-
* Move on!*

And there’s a pool too which is for decoration purposes I think.

Peace y’all.

Told ya there are a lot of beds scattered everywhere. Just bring your own pillow. HAHA kidding.

And these are some of the art pieces inside their galleries. Like what I said, we haven’t visited all because we had to go and it started to rain too. But nevertheless, I enjoyed it. The experience was so calming. It was a great day except for the fact that it’s really hot that day and that it rained so hard during the afternoon.

“I am nothing without you.”

I won’t put too much words in this blog post because I know art can only be appreciated when you see it in person (WOW). I am not an artist and I wish I am. Growing up as someone who loves to draw but didn’t manage to flourish that skill, I kind of having regrets on why did I ever let the time pass and not enhance my art skills. Fun fact: I really wanted to become an interior designer. But even so, I don’t regret being in the IT industry even though tbh, all these technical stuff is drowning me. LOL.
Appreciating art is something that lacks now a days because people see art as something to capture and not something to be appreciated in the moment. This visit also makes me want to collect art pieces! But that’s for the future. I can only imagine my future home having modern and vibrant paintings.
And yeah, this is highly recommended for people who would want to be artsy artsy in a weekend. For those who’re starting to be inclined with art. For those who wants to have a different casual date. For those who wants to have peace of mind. And even for those who are looking for instagram worthy pictures. This is perfect since just an hour drive away from the metro, you can digest a full day filled with art and nature. Pinto Art Museum**
